conserves and preserves nature and promotes environmental protection. The sanctity of all life on this planet and elsewhere is clearly ingrained in our culture.
But, this ancient connect between people and nature is getting lost very fast. Shree Samarth Sadguru is one of these reforms of our society who has dedicated his entire life for the welfare of human kind. Popularly known as ‘Dada Guru’, he followed his unconditional love for mother Narmada and nature to protect it. He is working tirelessly towards increasing awareness about the need and ways to preserve our nature.
Narmada Mission
On 12 January 2010 Dada Guru established ‘Narmada Mission’ with the sole motive to save mother Narmada and conservation and protection of Nature
River Revival for Our Survival
A flag bearer, a common man from amongst us, Dada Guru has taken a pledge towards taking steps for saving our mother nature
To save the life of Maa Narmada, Dada Guru did Satyagraha first time in 2014-15 in which he fasted for 18 months with the objectives of promoting Mother Narmada by giving her a living entity status, promoting cow protection, stopping sewage and promoting eco-firendly agriculture. With such noble causes in his heart, Dada Guru, has been again on fasting for more than 1000 days.
Since 17th October 2020, he has been on fasting and has been surviving only by drinking Narmada water. For past more than 34 months he has not been taking food and has been selflessly doing Narmada parikrama (an age old traditional circumambulation of mother River Narmada along her shores) to make people aware of the necessity of saving this ecosystem. He advocates the importance of taking even simple steps towards restoring the nature balance. His mission has organized many programs based on the equality of all religions with the aim of gathering all the religions for service to nature and service to mankind.
